Powerpoint is another way of making photo stories with your class. You can use both photographs and/or drawings that have been saved as jpegs (kidpix, mimio drawings etc).

Another way is to save the powerpoint as a movie and upload as a movie onto your blog.
I have been learning more about embedding various file formats this morning - very helpful. Animoto works very easily. Issuu.com is a great place to find pdf info or to upload pdf files (Keeps any hyperlinks there too.) You can save children's ppt (if they have web links) as a pdf and upload them via issuu. Slideshare is also a could place to find other slide shoes, or to upload ppt. I am still learning heaps!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnimoto will work on the PC's at school. I am still investigating, along with steve, why they won't work on our new apple macs at school but yet work at home. Vimeo won't even work on PC's but you tube is easy to upload videos too. The link to slideshare is in the above blog post. (:
