Keeping track, making things easier

We are learning to find ways to keep a track of all the useful and interesting sites and images that you find on the internet. 1. Bookmarks Bar (bookmarklets) and Menu (pictures) 2. Online PD Videos - Fractions, Proportions and Ratios

These videos can be really useful to remind us of the teaching process - materials - imaging - number properties. Not all stages had video examples but had useful suggestions. The following sites have fractions games at a range of levels... Topmarks has many interactive games. This link takes you to the search engine where you can choose your level. Games and explanations. Pizza Party Game This page has a range of games covering fractions proportions and ratios. This dictionary has some useful fractions explanations. Crickweb has a few great interactive games. It doesn't allow you to link specific games so the link is for the games homepage at the level you select. This NZ school wiki has fractions games from stage 3-7. Johnnie's Math Page alway has a good range of games. This is more suitable for middle/senior... This site has fractions worksheets with a simple layout (less reading for those who struggle) ... Teacher tools is a link I shared recently.  It is a NZ site that has PowerPoints and videos to support teaching numeracy.
