Another way to do screen captures - for apples

Image
Hi there. Hope you all found Wednesday's meeting valuable and I know that most of you have also added some pictures and links to you blog pages. I don't use the grab function on my apple for screen captures, I discovered through AllanahK,  http://bling4yrblog.blogspot.com/    a downloadable application for apples that enables you to manipulate, draw on and add text to your photos or screen captures. I use this for adding to photos and uploading to the blog - like this and for making step by step instructions for the children to follow where I can directly send them to a icon on the desktop or window e.g. like how to log on, use kidpix etc. So to download it - you go to  http://www.skitch.com/  , sign up , download it and then I put it in my dock. Once you have made a screen grab with skitch, you can drag it to the desktop, and it automatically saves your image. (: happy screen capturing Jac

The link is from a site Jac put me onto by Jacqui Sharp who is an ICT facilitator in NZ.  It has lots of great tips and tricks and is well worth a look. Good luck adding pictures, learning links and games to your blogs. Rachael To add a picture link to your blog follow these steps.. .
